IT & Technology racks and storage
Plan equipment storage with server cabinets, network racks and wall enclosures. Share equipment sizes, ventilation needs and cable access requirements to narrow the configuration.
Options for your space
Build a better brief.
These details help narrow the right configuration.
- What equipment depth and rack units are needed?
- What ventilation and cable access are required?
- Is wall mounting or floor standing preferred?
Check mounting geometry and service access together.
Rack units alone do not establish fit. Device depth, rails, cable exits, ventilation and the route for maintenance determine whether open, enclosed, wall or slide-out arrangements are appropriate.

EXPLORE RACK TYPEPlanning questions
Is rack-unit height enough to choose a cabinet?+
No. Include equipment depth, mounting rails, connectors, ventilation needs and front/rear service space. Door clearance and cable routes can be limiting even when the nominal rack height fits.
Can equipment be mounted vertically or on a wall?+
Only where the equipment and support documentation allow the proposed orientation and installation. Provide device details and wall information; do not infer suitability from a standard rack-mount front panel.
Plan before you choose
Product sourcing, delivery and installation depend on configuration, location and availability.
